April’s cybersecurity funding landscape was defined by a sharp acceleration in AI-driven innovation and the investment to match it.
From large-scale Series B rounds to a wave of well-funded seed-stage entrants, capital is flowing heavily into companies rethinking how security operates in an AI-first world. Whether it’s protecting non-human identities, monitoring autonomous agents, or enhancing detection and response through machine learning, the common thread is clear: security is being rebuilt for a fundamentally different operating environment.
Alongside this, strategic acquisitions from major players signal a continued push to strengthen capabilities across identity, data security and offensive training, as organisations look to keep pace with increasingly complex and fast-moving threats.
