November Cybersecurity Insights – Funding and M&A

November kept cybersecurity firmly in the spotlight, with capital flowing into every corner of the ecosystem. Big ticket raises from Armis and Guardio set the tone for a month dominated by exposure management, cloud protection, and security-by-design innovation.

What really stood out this month was the breadth of investment: early-stage teams landed substantial seed rounds normally reserved for later phases, Series B and C deals reflected increasing urgency around cloud and SaaS governance, and mature platforms continued to cement their category leadership.

  • Armis raise $435M in Funding | Founded in 2015, Armis is a cyber exposure management and security company that protects the entire attack surface and detects threats in real time. The round was led by Goldman Sachs
  • Guardio raise $80M in Funding | Founded in 2018, Guardio is a Cyber Security startup developing tools and products to combat modern web and browser threats, stepping in where traditional protections fail. The round was led by ION Crossover Partners.
  • Clover Security raise $30M in Funding | Founded in 2023, Clover Security delivers ‘design-led product security’, embedding AI agents from design to code to secure software products by design.
  • Flare raise $30M in Funding | Founded in 2017, Flare is a threat exposure management company that monitors digital footprints and provides prioritized alerts to protect data. The round was led by Inovia Capital & Bank of Montreal.
  • Oleria raise $19M in Funding | Founded in 2022, Oleria is an identity security company that offers proactive tools for identifying and mitigating risks to organizations.
  • Liminal raise $12M in Funding | Founded in 2023, Liminal develops a security platform for regulated enterprises.

Series C:

  • Doppel raise $70M in Series C Funding | Founded in 2022, Doppel is an AI-native platform designed for social engineering defense. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners.

Series B:

  • Sweet Security raise $75M in Series B Funding | Founded in 2023, Sweet Security is a cloud-native security company that specializes in providing detection and response solutions.
  • Truffle Security Co. raise $25M in Series B Funding | Founded in 2019, Truffle Security is an open source cybersecurity company that offers solutions for finding and remediating leaked software credentials. The round was led by Intel Capital & Andreessen Horowitz.
  • Apono raise $34M in Series B Funding | Founded in 2021, Apono aims to address the challenge of permissions management by providing users with a single, cloud-native platform.

Series A:

  • Method Security raise $26M in Series A Funding | Founded in 2023, Method Security is a cybersecurity company that provides security solutions and services designed to protect organizations from cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security breaches. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz & General Catalyst.
  • Nudge Security raise $22.5M in Series A Funding | Founded in 2022, Nudge Security delivers SaaS and AI security governance at the Workforce Edge. This round was led by Cerberus Ventures.
  • Feroot Security raise $14M in Series A Funding | Founded in 2020, Feroot Security is a pioneering cybersecurity and compliance company powered by an advanced GRC AI technology.

Seed:

  • Tenzai raise $75M in Seed Funding | Founded in 2025, Tenzai is founded by data science leaders to empower organizations to realize true potential of artificial intelligence through accessible. The round was led by Battery Ventures, Greylock Partners & Lux Capital.
  • Blast Security raise $10M in Seed Funding | Founded in 2024, Blast Security marks the end of reactive cloud security, replacing after-the-fact response with continuous prevention. The round was led by 10D & MizMaa Ventures.
