Cybersecurity investment momentum continues into September, with significant funding rounds and acquisitions shaping the industry’s future. From AI-driven SOC platforms to continuous exposure management and fraud prevention solutions, investors are fueling innovation across every layer of the security stack. This month saw major Series A activity alongside substantial late-stage investments, underscoring the sustained demand for scalable, intelligent, and automated security solutions.

On the M&A front, global leaders including Mitsubishi Electric, CrowdStrike, and Check Point Software made strategic acquisitions to expand capabilities in AI, threat detection, and OT security, signalling continued consolidation and evolution in the cybersecurity landscape.

  • Remedio (formerly GYTPOL) raise $65M in Funding | Founded in 2019, Remedio’s objective is to provide bullet-proof endpoint protection for any device, operating system, or computing environment. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners. 
  • Prelude raise $16M in Funding | Founded in 2020, Prelude is a technology company that helps organizations proactively ask questions of their security systems to advance their defenses.
  • FireCompass raise $20M in Funding | Founded in 2019, FireCompass is a cybersecurity company that offers a Saas platform for Continuous Automated Red Teaming and Attack Surface Management. The round was led by EC-Council Cybersecurity Innovation Fund.

Series C:

  • SEON raise $80M in Series C Funding | Founded in 2017, SEON is a SEON is the command center for fraud prevention and AML compliance that enriches data, provides context and directs action. The round was led by Sixth Street Growth.
  • Shift5 raise $75M in Series C Funding | Founded in 2019, Shift5 is a cybersecurity company that provides hardware and software solutions to defend operational technology (OT) platforms. This round was led by Hedosophia.

Series B:

  • ClearSkye raise $16M in Series B Funding | Founded in 2015, Clear Skye delivers a complete Identity and Access Governance solution providing employee lifecycle automation and business intelligence.
  • Silent Push raise $10M in Series B Funding | Founded in 2020, Silent Push is a detection-focused threat intelligence solution that identifies and protects organizations against new threats. This round was led by StepStone Group.

Series A:

  • Vega Security raise $65M in Series A Funding | Founded in 2023, Vega Security offers cybersecurity services for cyberattack detection. The round was led by Accel
  • Koi raise $38M in Series A Funding | Founded in 2023, Koi is a cybersecurity company that delivers an endpoint security platform. The round was led by Battery Ventures, Team8, NFX and Picture Capital.
  • Sola Security raise $35M in Series A Funding | Founded in 2024, Sola Security provides a self-serve cybersecurity platform that enables organizations to build, customize, and manage security tools. The round was led by S32.
  • Terra Security raise $30M in Series A Funding | Founded in 2024, Terra Security provides AI-driven, continuous web application penetration testing with human supervision. The round was led by Felicis.
  • TENEX.AI raise $27M in Series A Funding | Founded in 2024, TENEX.AI is a cybersecurity company that utilizes AI and human expertise to help enterprises protect their digital assets. The round was led by Crosspoint Capital Partners.
  • Mondoo raise $17.5M in Series A Funding | Founded in 2020, Mondoo is an exposure management platform that identifies, prioritizes, and addresses vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. This round was led by HV Capital
  • Red Access raise $17M in Series A Funding | Founded in 2023, Prophet Security delivers an AI-driven security operations center (SOC) platform that automates alert triage, investigation, and response.
  • Tidal Cyber raise $10M in Series A Funding | Founded in 2022, Tidal Cyber maps adversary behavior to a security stack using a threat-led defense platform. This round was led by Bright Pixel (formerly Sonae IM)

Seed:

  • AegisAI Security raise $13M in Seed Funding | Founded in 2025, AegisAI is a next-generation email security technology that uses self-driving AI agents to analyze each email like a human analyst would. The round was led by by Accel and Foundation Capital.
  • Hush Security raise $11M in Seed Funding | Founded in 2024, Hush Security is a cybersecurity company specializing in eliminating static secrets like API keys and credentials. The round was led by by YL Ventures and Battery Ventures.
  • Ray Security raise $11M in Seed Funding | Founded in 2024, Ray Security delivers predictive datasecurity platform that forecasts data usage, enabling adaptive protection, minimizing data risk. This round was led by Ibex Ventures and Venture Guides
